Guided Garden Snowshoe Tour

Snowshoe through the scenic trails of Betty Ford Alpine Gardens with a naturalist guide.

Learn about the remarkable adaptations of alpine plants and animals, and discover how you can help protect this fragile high-altitude ecosystem. Along the trail, look up into the canopy to explore the quiet relationships that keep the forest alive in the coldest months, and pause for a glimpse into Vail’s rich history. Afterward, head indoors to unwind in the cozy Education Center and take in the beauty of our Alpine House.

Snowshoe and pole rentals are included. Tour groups will be limited to 10 people. Advance registration is required to secure your spot. Meet your guide at the Education Center.
