At the Gardens, we believe our strength comes from a shared interest in continuing a legacy of guardianship for a unique and magical space at 8200’. Our living collections bring a rare and often unseen part of the world within reach of visitors who may never venture above the treeline, and our conservation efforts are making a meaningful difference in the world by protecting rare plant species and promoting biodiversity on a global scale.

\We offer full-time, seasonal and internship opportunities. More than XX summer interns have passed through the Gardens since 1986. Some have remained with us while others have continued on to continue their careers elsewhere. They all have experienced the magic of summer in Vail, Colorado and the western slope of the Rocky Mountains. We begin accepting applications for summer internship on December 1 prior to the summer of the next year.
