Each year, Eagle County 3rd grade classrooms may participate in our Butterfly Release program that teaches the life cycle of butterflies (some of our most important pollinators).
Now in its third decade of operation, this program reveals the miracle of metamorphosis. Kits are delivered to classrooms in the spring and live butterflies are released at the Gardens in May.
This event and learning opportunity are made possible by the Pepi & Sheika Gramshammer Foundation.
Please contact the Gardens to discuss your planned trip. For additional support or tour guides, please allow at least 2 weeks advance notice for coordination with our staff.
