Along the way, discover alpine plants, mountain environments, rare collections, and the stories that shape both the Gardens and the history of Vail.\nReserve your spot in advance—space is limited. Please allow time to arrive before your tour begins.\n\nKnow Before You Go\nAltitude & AccessibilityThe Gardens are located at 8,200 feet. Guests who are not acclimated to higher elevations—especially those with heart, respiratory, or other health considerations—should plan accordingly. Paths are ADA accessible but may be uneven; sturdy footwear is recommended.\nWeather PreparednessTours take place outdoors, rain or shine. Mountain weather can change quickly—please dress in layers and bring rain gear if needed.
